The Exalted Position of Women in Islam :An Analytical Study

Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive and analytical study of the status of women in Islam, addressing common misconceptions and misrepresentations. Through a critical examination of primary Islamic sources, including the Quran, Hadith, and classical jurisprudence, this research highlights the rights, responsibilities, and spiritual equality granted to women in Islam. The study explores the Islamic perspective on gender roles, emphasizing the balance between equality and complementarity within the framework of Islamic teachings.Furthermore, this paper examines the protections and legal rights provided to women in various aspects of life, such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, education, and social participation.
