Abstract

The study of the Prophet's biography, known as Seerat, has been ongoing for centuries, but Western cultural influences have given rise to a new trend in Seerat studies. Muslim biographers have transitioned from narrating historical events to focusing on the practical aspects of the Prophet's life. This shift has not only expanded the breadth of Seerat literature but has also introduced new methodologies and approaches.On one hand, there has been a proliferation in the literature exploring the practical dimensions of Seerat, while on the other hand, a new style and methodology have become prevalent. Muslims, benefiting from practical guidance in their daily lives, have also found solutions to contemporary economic, social, political, cultural, national, international, and ideological challenges through Seerat.This evolving trend has led to the emergence of a new discipline called "Fiqh al-Seerah." This approach aims to derive insights, wisdom, morals, practical lessons, and general guidelines from the events and life of the Prophet. This interdisciplinary method not only enriches Seerat literature but also provides solutions to modern issues illuminated by the teachings of Seerat.The benefits of this approach are evident, as it has gained popularity in both Arab and non-Arab regions. The newfound methodology, known as Fiqh al-Seerah, has become a prominent feature in Seerat literature, serving as a guide for Muslims in various aspects of life and addressing contemporary challenges through the lens of Seerat.This paper highlights that the book written under the title of Fiqh al-Seerah by Dr. Muhammad Al-Salabi cover a wide range of topics, including treaties, military expeditions, national and international military and organizational principles, benefits, and laws. The findings of this research article contribute to a nuanced understanding of Hazrat Muhammad's seerat, offering insights that can inform interfaith dialogue, foster cultural understanding, and promote a deeper appreciation of the Prophet's legacy. The article concludes with reflections on the enduring significance of studying the seerat of Hazrat Muhammad in the pursuit of global harmony, justice, and compassion.
