The Qur'an is the last message of guidance from God for mankind. As the scope of the spread of Islam expanded and those whose regional languages were completely different from Arabic began to embrace Islam, the Qur'an became the second. The need for translation into languages began to arise. But for a few hundred years, the rule of translation remained that the text of the Qur'an and its interpretation was exclusively Arabic and the non-Arabic language of the addressees for countries outside Arab borders. Used as a verbal understanding
The regular series of translations and commentaries in non-Arabic language began with the family of Shah Wali ullah. So Shah Wali ullah was the first to translate Quran into Persian and wrote footnotes in the name of Fath-ur-Rehman and his son Shah Abdul. Al-Aziz wrote Tafsir Fath-ul-Aziz in Persian language and the other sons took a step forward. The Mirwaiz family also benefited from the same Chashma Safi, so Maul Ana Muhammad Yahiya Shah translated the thirtieth paragraph into Kashmiri under the name of "Aachen Hind Gash" and later Maul Ana Yusuf Shah felt the need to a complete and comprehensive commentary should be written in Kashmiri language. Therefore, you translated the Holy Quran under the name of Fath-ul-Bayan. Thus, this translation was printed many times by Anjuman-e-Nusrat-ul-Islam, Srinagar. This article will present an analytical study of the religious, social, political and authorial services of Mirwaiz Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Shah for speared of Islam in Kashmir.
