Abstract

Omission (Deletion), It is very natural that the Holy Qur’an comes in the mother tongue of the people of Arab peninsula, adopting their curricula and rhetorical methods, and investigating all these aspects miraculously. Omission is one of the mechanisms of expression in the Arabic language according to rules and conditions that must be respected. Knowledge about omission and its rhetoric is indispensable for every researcher in Arabic in general and in the Qur’an in particular because ignorance of this delicate course of action would result in much confusion and perhaps slander and accusation of the Holy Qur’an, and if the translation of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an requires first and foremost mastery of the two languages: the starting point (LD) and the goal (LA)of : grammar, rhetoric, lexicon, semantics and pragmatics, etc. so that the translation would be accurate, faithful and meaningful to an acceptable extent. In view of the many problems posed by the omission of the sentences in translating the meanings of the Holy Qur’an in general, and in the translation of Non Arabic in particular, researching the problem is an important matter, and accordingly the problem of this research is mainly related to the problem of translating the deletion of the sentences: the given sentence, and the sentence of the Ahkam (order) a few translators use method of including a few words and terms assumed from the context even as others left them by keeping what is apparent within the original.
