The poem "Al-Burdah", tagged with "Al-Kawākib Al-Durriyyah Fī Madḥ Khayr Al-Bariyyah" is considered one of the poems of Our Last Prophet Muhammad's (Peace Be Upon Him) praises that have gained wide fame between the East and the West in Arabic literature. It is one of the masterpieces of Arabic literature in content, style, meanings, and agility of words. Even though, some took it as a response to an approach by reading it to God and to His Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). The Writer of this poem is Sharaf Al-Dīn Muḥammad Ibn Saʿīd Al-Ṣanhājī Al-Būṣīrī (d: 697 AH). Many scholars of Arabic literature consider him to be one of the first pioneers of new science and art in Arabic rhetoric known as "Al-Badīʿāt" in Arabic Rhetoric, where he organized the flags of scientists, writers, and poets on their weight and robe their wonderful poems, influenced by the eloquence of Al-Busayri in them. So, in this article, we will examine the status of the first 28 couplets of "Al-Qaṣīdah Al-Burdah" so that it can be known the artistic status of such a popular Qaṣīdah.
