This Research paper brings about the Hallmarks of the Islamic and current Egyptian legal systems as mentioned by Abdul Qadar aw' dah shaheed in his literary masterpieces in Islamic and western jurisprudence. Islamic world bears a rich content for all forms of Islamic lifestyle, moral, social, economic political, and legal aspects from conceptualization till its application. The early compilation works, called Muthun of all four schools of fiqh bear testimony to this tradition stretching over a period of fourteen centuries. These Muthun basically elucidate the pragmatics and semantics of the Quran and Sunnah. In contemporary works, this Egyptian jurisprudent has established milestones in the legal system based on Islamic and western jurisprudence, its sources, and execution aspects. The works of Abdul Qadar are said to be the ultimate conceptual clearance not only for the Egyptian government but also for the contemporary Islamic Legal thought process. Abdul Qadar's works have been translated, Researcher, Analysed and studied meticulously by modern academia in one form or the other. It is an honor to be the reader and researcher of aw'dah works. Any scholar or jurist identifying any deficiency in his intellect could fill his research gap from the literary treasure of aw' dah works. These scholars have made an effort to provide an executive summary of his life, character, scholastic standing as a jurisprudent, compilations, and precedents he has set for the academia of the Islamic and western world. This research paper comprises significantly an analysis and comparison of PPCs' selected sections i.e sections pertaining to Criminal law only. the results show that PPC sections and Fiqh-ul-jinaayaath are almost identical, with some minor exceptions.
